Jane Brookshaw grew up on a farm in the Welsh borders and has painted all her life. At school she opted to study art over PE and went on to graduate with a degree in combined crafts. After travelling and various careers she returned to become a full time artist!
This design is acrylic and ink and the simplicity of line and minimal colour creates a dramatic image of ladies wearing their hats ready for a formal occasion.
