Paul Cleden grew up in London, studied illustration at Kingston University and in 1995 he moved to Dorset with his family where he spent many years teaching printmaking and photography.

Every linocut print is hand-pulled by Paul using his 150 year old press, taking several months to develop, cut and print. The prints are multi-block, meaning every colour is cut into a separate piece of lino and printed separately.

Pauls sketchbook twitches whenever he sees a crowd...

Esalator Talk - This design shows peoples lack of interaction on their way to the London tube.

Band - The amazing power and movement created by an orchestra!

Bike - Paul was fascinated by the urgency and pace of these cyclists racing to the finish line, I’ll let you decide who won!
